Daviess County Launches Unified Marketing Campaign

The Daviess County Economic Development Corp., Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau have launched the first phase of a coordinated marketing and awareness campaign. The organizations updated their websites under a unified brand, We Are Daviess County.

Bryant Niehoff, executive director of Daviess County EDC, says the unified approach and the content created from it will help better tell the county’s story and share what it has to offer.

The organizations say the effort included the development of a fourth website, featuring original video productions that feature local professionals and residents.

“The ‘We Are Daviess County’ outreach provides an overarching brand that captures the great resources, assets and people we have here in our community,” Niehoff said. “Each of our organizational websites is targeted to the charge of that specific organization: economic development and community growth, connecting with our business community, and expanding our growing tourism sector.”

According to Niehoff, the launch of the four websites launches a new strategic effort to promote the county on multiple levels.

“All of the new logos follow a unified theme that first started with the economic development logo, bringing our brand more together visually,” Niehoff said. “Daviess County’s economy and development activity continue to grow at a healthy pace, and we want to tell our story holistically as we add new market-rate housing and other key developments.”

Organizations say planning for additional marketing efforts targeting specific demographic groups for relocation and retention is underway.
